Can you believe it’s been almost 6 months with braces? I’ve certainly had the up and down journey. Half a year into this and I’m mostly confident in them. The only time I doubt myself is if I’m at a new party or event and I’m meeting people I don’t know and flash a face full of metal— I still smile but inside I doubt just a little.
The great news is I’m almost done! This past visit the orthodontist has started doing detail bends in the wires to address just certain teeth. My mouth was sore again but that’s how I know it’s working. Once this process is complete I’ll get a retainer to sleep in at night. I can still feel myself clenching and know it probably won’t ever cease. Perhaps in February I’ll get these off??
